So, it sounds like there is the Official GM Schedule, as well as the "On the Ground" schedule. I believe Shane's schedule. It's consistent with what he told me a week or so ago.

looks like a day 2 for you also! Now the question is, is day 1 actually Monday or is it whenever they finish 2022s?

So how close to your TPW do you have to be before they assign your VIN?

I requested a vin early in the week and did not have one. Shane gave me mine this morning.

so approximately (in my case) 4-7 days prior to production.

Could it mean that the first 2023 units will be starting in the paint shop on Monday the 16th and roll off the assembly line on Friday the 20th?

I think your VIN is available when you get to 3400.

VINs are assigned early in the process. Sometime before Code 3000, but they are not released publicly until 3400 anymore. Customers used to be able to get them earlier until,.....No Mas.

Well guys, today may be the day! There are 59 2022s left to be built and then it's on to the 2023s! Not sure how long (if any) down time there is for the MY changeover, but the 2023s should be rolling off the line soon!

I'll update the spreadsheet as soon as I see the numbers posted on Facebook (assuming they are going to be posted). Excited for you guys with an upcoming 2023 build!

Should be no downtime at all. The first '23 will be right behind the last '22. The pallets are preloaded and delivered to each assembly station for the exact configuration of every car.

Looks great and I like the data points. Only suggestion is that the spreadsheet font used would be a little larger. Getting harder for these old eyes to read the smaller print!

Awesome! My TPW is 30 May. Early in the week I was 3300. I haven't heard if I've moved to 3400 yet. I'll contact Shane Monday (yep, doing museum delivery).
