My 2023 is being built next week. I have a 2 car garage for which one side has always been very sufficient for my toy. I also have 2 teenagers with bicycles, skateboards, sports equipment, beach gear, and other odds and ends on the other side. I have grown to hate taking car covers on and off every time i want to go for a ride. The elastic is a pita as many of you know, especially with only urself doing it. I end up not even using it most of the time.
Can i throw a couple moving blankets on top of the one side of the car just to protect the right side from the teenagers? Will moving blankets scratch the paint? Has anyone devised or utilized something else other than a moving blanket? Thank you for any ideas.
Everything scratches the paint unless both the car and the item covering it are perfectly clean. That's how you put swirl marks into the clear coat. Put up some sort of semi-permanent divider to keep their toys away from your big toy.

Agree. Covers are a pain in the ****. If they aren't perfectly clean and free of dust you will have a problem.
