I like mine, but it depends on what you want. They are the same textured plastic as the Z51 front splitter and the splash guards. They just cover the rocker panel and add protection. Some people want full side skirts, some people want carbon flash painted pieces, it just depends what you want.
As far as 'looks' go it's totally up to individual preference.
I got them because they are made of very durable material and the area they cover is very prone to shoe/kick damage. I've seen C8s that didn't have them where paint had nicks, black heel marks etc in that area.
I think they look really good. I have a set available (brand new) if you are interested. I decided to go with 5VM side skirts, so didn't have these installed. I have a bunch of other parts available too such as GM extended splash guards (brand new), stock engine cover, new Z51 wheels and tires with < 10 miles on them (silver stock ones). I also have new (less than 50 miles) NPP exhaust with black tips. Not easy to ship the exhaust or wheels though.
I had them on my 2020 and didn’t order them on my 22. They are just cheap un painted black plastic sleeves and have to be drilled and riveted into the body. No thanks.
I like mine a lot. Also, I autocross my car (lotta cone rash on the underside of them), and the paint down there is very fragile. It's like armor for your rockers. Nice thing is I can just replace them (if needed) when I go to get out of this car in another 2 years. For me, it was an extremely worthwhile investment.
