C8 won’t start at all

C8 won’t start at all
So I park my C8 to take a quick look inside the corvette museum in KY and it’s hasn’t been the same since. It got stuck in accessory mode. The engine won’t start or take a jump. It was towed to Serra Chevy dealer near Nashville where it took a few days for them to switch the battery and I later drove it home to GA. The next day, I get the same problem at home. So onstar gets it towed to Cronic Chevy in Griffin GA. They replace the BAttery control unit. I go to drive the car back home. On the way back home the car does it again. Not starting. At least it’s not failing while driving…but it’s getting a bit frustrating dealing with the failures….anyone else dealing with this? I have no after market parts on a 2020 with 15k miles. Thank you

All you can really do at this point is get it towed to the dealer again, tell them the history, and hope they find the actual cause of the problem. Have you tested the battery to see if it's drained, or tried to jump start the car?

The rental I had last summer, died 3x after sitting 4 days...
Once returned, the rental company said they had it sit in their shop 10 days and it started right up...
I believe there is a sensor or some type of draw that is drawing down the BCM, where its bypassing the 5 min shut off...

I think I found the issue. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2021/12...-transmission/ the vehicle get stuck in accessory mode and also does not show the vehicle in park. With the vehicle still thinking it is not in park it will not start and keeps the all the car modules active. One way to get around this is to clear the codes in with an OBD scanner and disconnect the battery for at least 5 minutes...this works for a while, but eventually it will no longer solve the issue. Explains why I would see "Service Transmission" on the dash.

that being said I think I've found that this ONLY HAPPENS when I try to remote start the vehicle either from the remote or the app - stay tuned it goes back on Tuesday!
