My order went to 3000 last week. I got the first email from GM today and received email from museum 2 days ago. I am wondering how long I may be waiting for the car now? 2 months? FYI I put in order with the dealer about 60 days ago.
Mine has been at 3000 for about 3 weeks or so. I’m guessing that things pick up pretty quickly once your numbers move close to production, but that’s just a guess.
I was told about a month ago that it will be 8-12 weeks. Given the winter is coming, I’m a little indifferent on whether I get the car in December or January - or maybe even February.
Mine was built today. Status 3000 on 8/25. However, so much of it depends on your build and any potential constraints. Also HTC seems to take about the full 8 weeks because they can only build two in a row down the line. So more coupes seem to get built. Best wishes on your new ride.
I've been at 3000 since 9/29 - almost three weeks...I'm betting that the plant has been dedicated to ZO6 builds and Stingrays are in a holding pattern.
Don't know when it may go to 3300.
1100 on 8/5
Dealer called on 9/29 to confirm order or make changes. Made changes on 10/1
Order accepted on 10/3
Email from NCM 10/10 about plaque
First email from GM 10/12
My car was built last week. It was about 8 weeks from 3000 status to being built. Now, I've got another 2 weeks to wait for shipping as their is bit of a backlog on shipping the cars. I assume museum delivery would have made this faster.
Wonder how fast off of the production line they schedule museum deliveries. One week later??
Out of curiosity, did the Museum initiate the setting of a delivery date, or did you contact them to do this? I am also at 3300, with a TPW of 10/24, and they are telling me that until the order is 3400, the TPW isn't even set in stone.
Looks like turnaround time has slowed for many of us as my order went in on 9/19 and Shane @ Museum told me today that tentative TPW is 11/21. When I ordered last year mid October and even with all of the shutdowns, holidays, etc my car was built 12/01 so certainly a bit slower this time around
Is Z51 and No Z51 both on constraint? When I ordered was told Z51, mag ride, all weather mats, high wing, and Q9i wheels could not be on my order. But I see some people stating they were told they HAD to get Z51.
I received the email from Chevrolet with the 3000 status on 8/24/22. It was built 9/30, delivered to dealer on 10/10. I get it on Monday, 10/17. A long and winding road!
I have been lucky. 3000 at 9/22.
3300 at 10/12 with a TPW of 10/24/22
Can wait on my 70th Anniversary. But with the shut down next week probably push back my build.
It seems to run 6-8 weeks. Closer to 6 for a coupe, closer to 8 for an HTC. IF you got through with Q9I wheels you could expect to add a couple of more weeks and hope to get lucky it’s less…..but that seems to be the norm.
