Keep in mind that your goal is not to "keep the valves open" but rather to achieve what you perceive as a louder exhaust. Louder than ......? With the engine/shift setting to tour, the car will go intoV4/ AFM mode. It will close the pair of AFM valves in the exhaust system, as well as the exhaust flow control valves. If you find a way to keep the exhaust flow control valves open, will it be louder, or will it make an unpleasant sound?
Yes, my first step in this experiment is to see if simply holding the vales open at all times produces a desireable result. This can be accomplished by unplugging them, confirming they are in fact fully open, and driving it with the CEL for a while. If good, I'll make it elegant. If not, I'll do something else.
You already have two strikes against you - Corvette Mods is a scam shop and Mild 2 Wild doesn't work on a C8. There is another lengthy thread on the forum about just keeping the valves open all the time without getting a CEL. I forget the name but you can search for it. Has multiple pages of things others have tried. Turns out that isn't easy either, but you can try. The best solution is find an aftermarket exhaust that has the sound you like,
Disconnected all 4 valves, keeping them open at all times. Result: not loud enough for me, and any improvement wasn't significant enough to pursue further.
That muffler, though seemingly simple internally, must be very restrictive!! Biggest change was the odd exhaust sounds if it goes in V4 mode.
Cleared 10 codes. Time for another solution.
Something on my wish list for an "intelligent" upgrade is a *true* stealth startup. It's the loudest when I'd prefer it to be the quietest 🙄...
The startup is equally loud in any mode, as the valves are full open and the rpm's are high for about the 1st 30 seconds. Not sure how you'd deal with that.

Thanks! This is what we all needed to know. You might consider editing to your first post to add your result so people that search for this can find the result. Else your result will get buried in the thread. I thought this might happen but not certain. I see you commented on the odd sound in V4 mode. Did you also try it with the engine/shift set to track (either track drive mode or Zmode with the parameter set to track)? That prevents V4 mode - but I would expect its otherwise not louder.
I remember when I had my C7 with NPP exhaust I just removed the fuse for it and it stayed open.. I'm not sure if that would work with the C8.
Nope! Been ~3 years and all older techniques tried some time ago. All trip a CEL.
SIDEBAR
The C8 NPP fuse is 3 pronged, multfuction. Even if you just short out the section of a 3 prong fuse for only NPP- trips a CEL.
In C7 if you pulled fuse for V8 to V4 valves, it tripped a CEL. For NPP valves it did not. Why Mild to Wild worked. It was just a remote relay that “pulled the fuse on command.” Folks who used Mild to Wild in C7 tested and even in Track where NPP was open MOST OF THE TIME FROM ~1700 rpm and higher, had a drone on the highway if you pulled the fuse. Some folks were more sensitive and others didn’t care.
On my C6 NPP installed a simpler toggle switch to “pull the fuse” on command. Cruising on an Interstate the drone was bad and I had to flip the switch to let it “close the NPP valves.” Most other times it stayed “pulled”
So far no one has “proved” what it will or won’t do to “pull the fuse” say when set to Track, using the expensive devices plugged into the valve actuating plug that trick the computer to avoid a CEL. So the question remains; in Track will it make a difference? If so how much?
I have M2W on my C6 and it works great. No need for the C8. I also understand that it does not work on the C8, so save your $$.
What I did was to make 'My Mode' change to loud exhaust and I kept all the other settings at 'Tour' level.
Works the same as M2W and works for me. I use the Z button for more aggressive settings.

Unfortunately, yes, my experiments proved that any method of keeping the valves open, whether you play with fuses or valves (i did both), does NOT produce any significant difference in sound worth the effort. Meaning, not any better than "Track". In fact I didn't hear any improvement at all. Perhaps there was a small increase at certain times (since this would have defeated any drive-by sound compliance done by valves), but I didn't detect any. I've updated the first post with my findings so nobody needs to go through this exercise.
