Theft recovery GPS
The only reason I keep Onstar is for this purpose and was curious what the other options were. Anyone using a 3rd party company to track the car and locate if stolen? If so, how much did it cost?

Not a fan of Air Tags. They only have bluetooth so they can only update when another apple device gets within range (15-20'). Then they serindipidiously connect to that device (assuming that user hasn't disabled the "Find My" feature and/or Location Services) So while it works in some applications, I would not rely on it for finding anything important and definately does not work in real time.

If you are really wanting a GPS tracking system, check with a good auto audio/electronics store and see what they may have to offer.

Yes this is the cheapest means of GPS tracking. In fact I’m going to buy two more air tags and do just this to my Corvette and Armada.
