I get to pick up my C8 in Bowling Green sometime in February but as it was ordered with the standard engine cover, I'd like to order a red one from whoever makes the best looking ones. I've read some have different emblems and quality control but I prefer to stay OE or hopefully better. Any experiences with these, good and bad, will be greatly appreciated. Also are 2023 correct Z51 caliper decals available anywhere as I will also be powder coating those. Thanks for any advice on these or tips for trailering out of Bowling green will also be appreciated. Thanks, jim
i bought my engine cover from @Raceready Panels who is a sponsor here on the forum. nothing but a high quality and exceptionally good looking engine cover. they have lots of different options and very good customer service.

I bought mine from a small independent vendor in FLA, Mike's Vette Mods, family guy who does quality work with decent prices and will work with you to create custom painted parts to make your car look it's best. Check him out, give him a call you won't regret it.
Edge Red Engine Cover ($371) and C8 hood emblem added ($25)
@tadda as Jethro would say on the Beverly Hillbillies… that sure does look “purty”. However, you did not answer OP’s Q… which was who makes best looking C8 engine cover?
I bet the person posting the Q would love to know. I know I would like to know.

I did answer correctly..I think mine looks the best...HA!! .
Agreed. I bought an extra cover for $100 and going to paint it and I still have the original. All that info is provided on other threads on the forum plus helpful videos. I think @JerryU has great info on this topic.

With all due respect, the OP also wanted to know where to get one from. Posting how much you paid without telling us where you got it from is not telling the full story.
For the OP. I ordered the OEM Edge red cover similar to tadda (without the add on emblem) for $371 from ShopChevyParts.com.

Will let you know how the DIY comes out. I hate painting. The hardest part is the emblems on the side. I want black with white lettering. This bumps the material cost to $60. Etching and black paint.
I watched one video of a guy having his kids removing, painting, and installing the cover. I only point it out because it was great if not awesome parenting. The kids did a fantastic job. I wish they lived closer. I would pay them.
Chuck at Campbell Chevrolet (he works with the museum on deliveries) called me a couple days before my delivery and said he had the edge red covers in stock. I secured one from him museum installed it for $25. Also got the scrape armor radiator screens (also installed by the museum), jake cargo mats and a cover from him. Great guy to work with.
