I spied it on the showroom floor while they were doing my state inspection. Looks and smells brand new (as it essentially is, with a better “Certified” warranty.) They told me it’s been there a couple weeks; demand slow in mid-winter Philly area.
I guess we’re outside your 2K mile range…
cool. But, again, it HAS to be new for my purposes. Cannot be previously titled. Also, warranty useless to me as mine would have unlimited mileage (and free), which is one of the reasons why it HAS to be new for me.
where do you see this? MSRP or under for new? i've literally called almost 100 dealers from CA to almost the east coast this weekend and not a single one is at MSRP for in-stock units. Their websites say they are, but they aren't when you actually talk numbers with someone. Even been offering $3k over and not one single bite. $13,000 over for an LT1 is the "best" i've come across so far
I managed to get one at Macmulkin in December at MSRP he had several available it took several try's to get one . Car arrived last Sunday. They were great to deal with. My advice keep trying you will get one but it might not be exactly what you want
I would buy a C8 at a reasonable price also a z06. Looks like the c8 is still not where i am . I think the markets will soften but who knows? If i could predict the market i wouldn't worry about c8 prices!
Asking prices are still high. C8's are still commanding a premium. No quite as much as usual. The spring will bring the prices back up. From what I have researched, about a 7-8K downward correction. But prices, and most sales, are still above sticker.
Gettel Chevrolet in Punta Gorda,Fl.had 2 used C8s on the lot last week when I was there getting the oil changed on my '20 C8. A Torch Red ,and a Rapid Blue. Both cars were 1LTs, had no rear spoilers with the Red car having 2k miles, and the blue car 15k miles..No prices on either car..
I looked at the Red Mist, it has less than 500 miles and is 3LT with a sticker of $86,110.00. They are asking $99K. It's still there. I was in there purchasing a ZL1but the deal fell through when I was told they made a mistake on my quote with a GM F&F discount and the car would be $5k more if I wanted it. I didn't and passed. I knew it would sell and it did within a day or two. The car had a $5k market adjustment added last I heard.
I actually liked the Red Mist color and that car made me interested in purchasing a C8. I ended up purchasing a 23 C8 at sticker with the "protection package" waived at a dealer 100 miles away a short time after.

Most dealers in Dallas Texas sale at MSRP if you ordered them. The only dealers that have them over MSRP are the ones people backed out of due to dealer lying to them about price.

prices definitely coming down. Was able to get brand new in-stock local unit (NV) for MSRP about 6 weeks ago
Selling at sticker is NOT COMING DOWN Dealing is coming down again some 20s are still in the 80s and 90s a 4 year old car
yea but if youre a good negotiator, you can get a fair deal. Like i said mine had a $20k markup on one on the showroom floor. Brand new. I got it for MSRP after only a day of a little back-and-forth.
I had a few other dealerships that wouln’t budge on markups 3 months ago all calling me nonstop recently saying they are open to negotiations until i finally told them to kick rocks, they had their chance. Greedy f*cks.

It’s “coming down” if it’s coming down. The fact that C8 prices are coming down from stratospheric levels does not change that.
Case in point — a guy in our club does not particularly enjoy his C8 (a ‘22) He first looked into selling it about a year ago but has been dilly-dallying (while putting maybe 500 more miles on it over that period.) He reports that dealer offers are down $10K over that time…
