Default Your C8 "Gift" from Chevrolet

What is the procedure for GM knowing you are to receive the "Gift" that all talk about after buying a C8..? I had purchased a 2023 C8 from Ciocca in A/C the end of August 2022 and still have not received anything and don't know who to talk to about it. I doubt my sales person would even remember me at this point with all the people they talk to and I don't feel like driving all the way down there to only find out he does not know me from anyone else..?

My delivery date was just about 4 months before yours and I still have not gotten anything. That is why I'm questioning it and I expected a delay, but not this long..

Mine took over 9 months to get. Not to worry.
While waiting, call Spring Mountain and sign up for your Ron Fellows driving school. You don't have to wait to get the certificate. Just have your VIN ready.

I think it's cool that they're not only the same color as the C8 you bought, but also the same body style, Coupe or Convertible.

Took delivery of my '23 RM coupe on 12/15/22, received mine today. Waited 18 months for the car and only four months for the C8 gift. No ideal how they determine when to ship them.

My guess is they manufacture them in batches of color and/or body style, and that's why shipping time is HIGHLY variable.

Did you order your C8 new from them or buy one that they had in stock? If ordered new, you could call Corvette Concierge (866-424-3892) with your order number and ask them to check to see if they have you on the list. You might also want to confirm your physical, shipping address, as mine came by FedEx and I don't think they will deliver it to a P. O. Box, etc. I had to do this on my order and it worked, because my gift arrived today. If you bought it from dealer stock, I'm not sure if you will get it or not. I think you would have to check with your dealer on this. It's a nice model to have, so it's worth the effort to get one.

I too bought mine from Ciocca the beginning of July of 2023 and I am still waiting for mine. It seems they are shipping based upon color. I see many reds have been sent out the last few weeks. I have a Red Mist Metallic and hopefully it wound be too much kinder. (The dealer has nothing to do with this model as it comes directly from GM).

I got mine 4 months after I bought the car. BUT, seriously, what the hell do you do with this thing? It's basically a useless waste of money.

Spend five hundred grand on a new Ford GT and you get something slimy but it is not as nice as what Chevy sends us. I absolutely love mine and believe the car is worth just a bit more with one.

Took 7 months to get the model for my '22. Been 7 months now and haven't received the one for my'23. The best thing to do is just forget about it and when it does come it's a pleasant surprise.
