For any Silver Flare enthusiast...I stepped out of my 21 C8 and the sun was just right so I snapped this shot.
If you look for it, you can see the gray, silver, blue and gold. Even though it's not the most popular I think it's timeless.
C8 color, I think it's a timeless.
I have silver flare too and love the color. The car never looks dirty and I could go weeks without washing it even with regular driving.
And, the color has so much depth and variety.
It’s an amazing color for sure. A lot of people react that they have never seen the car in this color before, and how great it looks. Here are some pictures of mine that show the dramatic shifts the paint is capable of.
The photos show a beautiful color and color flash. I wonder why it is not popular? As for popularity, Ceramic Matrix Gray is among the top and Silver Flare is just above Caffeine I believe. Is Silver Flare actually a little bit darker than Ceramic Gray? Can some one who has seen them both, hopefully side by side, comment? I can't decide which color to order.
The problem with Silver Flare is that in a very good light, it can look pretty good, but in the wrong light it looks dirty white. Not for me, but I was a big fan of Blade Silver until it was discontinued. I too find the silver colors easy to maintain, a big plus.

I've taken hundreds of photos of my C8 and I can honestly say I have never seen it look dirty white. It's my opinion that silver flare is one those colors that needs to be broken up with a contrasting color. Having all the carbon flash parts on my car especially the roof and nacelles keeps the color from looking so homogenous in my opinion.
In the last photo, the C8 on the left is blade silver.
