I just purchased a 2023 Z51 2LT, 70th anniversary edition (I think) with 2100 miles. I see that it has had a first service ( not sure what was done), oil change I assume. What should I do to have it up to date with GM? I don't care for Onstar and don't know if it is active. I would also like GM to know that I now own the car and would like to get notifications for service, recalls, etc.. Also, how would I set up the log-in with my name? I have "reset" all of the settings that I could, including Bluetooth, phones and even radio stations. I have the window sticker showing the options and a receipt for a paint correction and a very expensive coating. I also think there is a wrap of black on the back hatch. Is there a place that I can get all of the options listed with the VIN? I believe I have see that in addition to the window sticker. This is my third Vette. First was a 1969 vert, second was a new C6 coupe Z51 1LT in Atomic Orange... loved that car, but sold it just before my house burned down in one of the northern CA fires.
Any information will be considered helpful.
Thanks all. Is the black deck a wrap.. feels like one.
Congrats! That’s a great looking car. I’ll take a stab, but I’m sure more knowledgeable people will come along.
All ‘23s are 70th cars, but yours is not a 70th special edition. That’s an option package with badging and special colors/interior, etc.
Can’t help with the GM/Onstar thing.
First service is 7500 miles. You probably just got an oil change.
I know what you are talking about with regards to seeing all the options. I don’t know how to view it. But the sticker should contain all relevant info concerning options.
I would think a dealer can pull up the service you received but I can tell you my 2023 C8 indicated I needed service at the 1 year point and my miles were I believe around 1200 and I baby my car so it must be a time element thing which is similar to all of my other cars which are German and need an annual service as well, the dealer did a free service changing the oil and the dst fluid.
Congrats, your new car is a beauty, love the Red !!
Since you've owned a corvette before you probably know where/what dealer to take it to. But the one frequently mentioned on here is the smaller one in Rio Vista, Abel Chev. It is a little distance but not much for good service with knowledgeable techs who truly know the car. That's a beginning or start. And you probably know that regardless of miles, an oil change is required each year. There's more to know about the car re fluids, but the most important beyond engine oil, is the DCT maintenance. Do a search on here for the most recent thread(s) on it, and the miles/time/onboard notice to do such maintenance.
Glad you didn't personally get caught in the fire, but sorry about your loss. Follow Zymurgy's advice above to find out what's on your car. Good luck with the car.
Your window sticker will show all of the options that your car was built with, Your local Chevy dealer can run a GMVIS report for you which would show any service that was done on your car. Typically, the Onstar feature will be active for a short trial period when the car was new, you will have to contact them to renew
Also to answer your bottom question, it is an aftermarket wrap, the coupes don’t have the black painted top option, only verts (HTC). Your windows have aftermarket tint also, maybe illegal depending on state law where you live.
And congratulations!

The 2023 models come with 3 years of Onstar Remote Access, you should definitely log in to https://www.chevrolet.com/ownercenter and set up your profile as well as getting the MyChevrolet app on your smartphone (to allow for remote start from your phone, vehicle tracking, etc). It was part of the price of the car, so you've already paid for it. I'm not sure what's required to transfer it to your account, I'm assuming when you add the VIN to your account on the app or website it'll prompt you with what you need to do.
As mentioned, all 2023s are 70th Corvettes, but only the white pearl or carbon flash cars are 70th Anniversary Editions.
Definitely have a dealer pull the service history. The first major service is the oil change and DCT flush at 7500 miles, which must be done within +/-500 miles of the 7500 target. The DCT flush could have warranty impact, so make sure you get it done. It was free (along with the oil change) within 2 years to the first owner, but I'm not sure if that transfers to the 2nd owner.
BTW, I love the blacked out roof, looks good on the coupe as well as the HTC.
Thank you all for the advice and tips. I am in the process of implementing them all. I'm pretty sure the tint is too dark, but I'll keep it there until I have to have it removed. Until then, just roll down the windows when I see a LEO. I also like the look of the black wrap on the engine hatch. I finished installing my radar detector and dash cam yesterday. Powering both units was very easy. One with the mirror power and the other running the wire under the headliner and "A" pillar to the 12V outlet under the glove box. Also painted the engine
cover. Lots of masking and hand detail work, but turned out really good. It looks great when looking through the back glass. I am familiar with Able Chevrolet. That place is great. Never had a problem with their service department when I used to bring my 2008 C6 in for warranty work.
