Shipping Wheels/Tires
I posted C8 wheels and tires on here for sale and found a buyer. We agreed to a priced including shipping since i called UPS via phone and they quoted me $300. I dropped the wheels and tires off and the store manager just got back to me with a quote of $800 shipped from 60018 to 12211 (Chicago IL to Albany NY). This is outrageous price from UPS.
Does anyone have a cheaper solution to get these tires shipped?

Only use FedEx if you want your items damaged. Two weeks ago I received flooring that was damaged and six months earlier cabinets. I asked the FedEx guy if they use gorillas on the dock to handle the packages. I said these are custom cabinets that cost thousands of dollars. I don't think they could ship bags of sand without hurting them.

If you have a UPS account, that will also save you some money. Just go on the UPS website and sign up for an account. No cost and it will usually save you 30% on shipping. Ship to a business address is also a way to save money.

Friend who was a school teacher as a day job delivered for uShip summers. A 3 month adventure on the road. Bought a 20' box truck gently used from Penske Hertz. Cell phone and a Dell XPS 13. All it took to get In the uShip business. If you got him, you got great service. If you didn't, you got the dice in hand and one roll. Seven or snake eyes?
