Mine started on a Friday and finished on a Monday after being idle on the line for two months during COVID. Turns out, it's a really good car, don't know how, but it is.
I was told by a tour guide that it takes 14 hours to build a C8. This is assembly line production time. Keep in mind that most of the components/assemblies have been pre-assembled. For instance, at the work station where the dashboard assemblies are installed, the entire dashboard assembly is an all complete component. Similarly the frames....the basic aluminum/magnesium structure.....is also preassembled. More obvious examples are that the engines and transmissions are all pre-assembled.
FWIW: The assembly line moves at just a little over 2 miles an hour.

Agree^^^^^, this was my EXACT build Friday & Monday, start/finish. Only difference is that mine is a 2021 and with nearly 25,000 miles, absolutely flawless!
