Hey all. Ordered through MacMulkin. Got the email from Becky at the Museum to arrive by 815 on my scheduled date with my registration, insurance, license plate, ID, and receipt of payment.
My cousin who lives in Bowling Green went with me. We tried to enter at the Entrance doors but they were locked. Within a few minutes one of the reps let us in and I could go look at my car.
My rep was fantastic, went over every part of the car I could want.
Every person in the Museum who saw my VIP lanyard said "congratulations on your new car" even if they hadn't met me. Nice touch.
I met Shane-he's as good in person as he is on email. His office is just off the delivery floor if you want to thank him also. Becky was out that day.
After my car was driven outside my cousin and I did the tour of the factory. Really cool and showed me a lot about what I bought. You have to leave your cell phone outside for this part.
We had lunch in the Stingray restaurant and then I did a self tour of the Museum as my cousin had to leave and the guided tour had already started. For someone who lives in Bowling Green and sees a ton of Vettes for generations, my cousin was VERY impressed with the day.
After some time in the gift shop I left around 330pm. I suspect most people would need a bit more time.
My wife and I did museum delivery for my first new (2nd overall) corvette last year. The price was only $995 then. It was on a Saturday and the deliveries were fewer. The plant tours were not running yet, but the personal experience was amazing. My wife and I were given a personal tour of the museum by our delivery specialist. At no time did I ever feel rushed and any/all questions were answered. The museum does an outstanding job making the delivery process as special as possible. I watch the videos we took from time to time and smile at the awesome memories. Would I do it again, possibly. However, I am so glad I did it and recommend it to anyone....at least once. Aside from the deliveries, the museum is a great place to visit for the day and I highly recommend everyone become a member. I have been back twice since then when I travel through BG.

sounds like it’s a $1500 PDI. Especially if you don’t get a plant tour.
Plus the hotel and gas or airfare to get there. Honestly though I think the guys who prepped the car did an excellent job. They were so proud. Becky and Shane were great. The lady who covered the C8 operation for us wasn’t very good but I did see others there that had what appeared to be good knowledgeable concierges. I guess it’s the luck of the draw. I would not recommend taking the early morning slot. The place is dead and like someone commented the doors are locked. The recent increase to $1500 to pay for the CEO’s salary so she can pay the worker bees $14/hr though makes the Museum delivery something I wouldn’t recommend though. It went up over 50% in a year. That’s a bigger increase than the UAW workers got. Sam
Canadians have the same opportunity for the Museum delivery. You just have to drive farther but hey you would get your break in miles done on the trip! lol. Sam

Great review, thank you. I wish Canadians had the opportunity for Museum delivery. Congratulations!
You said you wish Canadians had the same opportunity for a museum delivery. Can’t you buy a C8 in Canada and specify the museum delivery or do they not allow that cross border purchase? If they don’t allow it can you order a C8 from MM and pick it up at the museum? Sam
Okay I found this regarding the museum delivery option for our Canadian friends:
Unfortunately, R8C Museum Delivery is unavailable to Canadian buyers. GM and the Canadian government/Customs have struggled for years to resolve their issues to be able to offer it.
The customer could consider our NCM Experience program should they decide to travel to the museum once they have the car in their possession.

I could definitely buy a C8 from anywhere across the boarder but then I wouldn’t receive any warranty. My dealership said it wasn’t an option and another member here said Shane from the museum said it would never be available for Canadians .
So they do guide your museum tour? Others have said it’s not guided.
The person who drove us to and from the factory tour said she was starting a guided Museum tour once we got back. As that was 2pm we decided eating made more sense as my cousin had been in the Museum before and I could walk through on my own. I saw the driver with two others when I walked through.

I don't like paying the fee plus the destination charge. But I have family in BG, I had heard how great the experience was, and I wanted the plaque on the wall and between the seats that had "Museum delivery" with my Dad's name. He passed this year and we were born in Kentucky like the Corvette.
I took my time over that week coming home, seeing family, and breaking in the car.
