Just curious what everyone is seeing as far as mileage when they pick up their new Corvette. I will pick mine up tomorrow and it has only 2 miles on the odometer, must have rolled off the assembly line and directly on to the truck.

I believe 2-4 is the norm for customer order cars. However, I believe that there are some cars that get randomly selected for 20-ish mile quality-check drives around the streets of Bowling Green. My understanding is that GM used to put a sticker on the car indicating that it was tested before leaving GM's possession, but I believe that has stopped....some new ones just end up with "more miles" because of the quality check.
I heard this on my factory tour and have heard it on YouTube before. Never heard of a person that it happened to, though...so who knows

Mine was 2 off the truck and 4 when I picked up. The other 2 miles was due to the dealer storing it at their overflow lot because I could not pick it up right away.

If it stopped it was probably because people who received cars with only 2-4 miles were bugging the Chevrolet Concierge requesting a sticker since they did not want to feel left out. I heard that being assigned to Corvette Concierge is a form of punishment - considering the lame calls about tardy speed models etc that they have to endure
