Anyone using a seat cover? I have worn through the bolsters on all my C3's - C6. The only one that i didn't was the C7 which I sold at 40K miles to buy my C8. I have red seats and wouldn't mind toning down the interior red a bit as well. Not looking for a seat towel like I've seen, more of something that fits the seat well and looks good. I haven't found anything yet with my searches.
One reason I got the Comp seats was for its ruggedized Kevlar-inspired textile bolsters. But did add these partial seat covers for the middle section/headrest.

Bolsters are where seat wear occurs, mostly. These covers do squat for that, pretty much useless.
Hence why I deliberately chose Comp seats with wear-resistant textile bolsters if you read what you quoted. Both together work complementary. And seat covers have saved me from punctures or permanent indents in my other leather seated cars so, no, not useless.

Who the hell puts a cover on the steering wheel?????
A fan who themes their C8 after the Mandalorian and his stingray-shaped starfighter of the same color scheme for fun.
My selection for the steering wheel cover's crackle design pattern was inspired by his Darksaber:

Yes, there are endless designs. I was originally going to get a non-descript all-black neoprene but stumbled across the crackling pattern perfect for my theme.
I was debating this forged carbon wheel for $1300 to achieve a similar effect. But that versus a $10 cover that more closely mimics the desired crackling white electricity pattern? That's a pretty wide disparity and I'm not that desperate to flex.
Besides the fact that you can probably hydro-drip every bit of black plastic in the interior with a design like that....
That's a good idea but I'm over taking apart interior plastics. Did it on many past cars (door panels, rear seats, entire dashboards to install tuck lighting, aftermarket start buttons, harness bars, or sound systems and wire tuck their harnesses) and would randomly break plastic tabs. I already scratched up the waterfall speaker grille just to swap out my custom Mando plaque and ordered/replaced it with a new one. Most of my "mods" are more like fickle accessories that are instantly revertible to stock to keep that OEM feel. Rather than true mods requiring real commitment in cost or replacing/altering OEM parts. I'm more about preservation this time unlike the messing around I did with past cars.
