Default Avant Garde Wheels

I am thinking of buying the M520R wheels for my 23 Stingray. Anyone have any issues with these? Also with the different offsets are there any rubbing problems? Thanks....

Default I have em….

And REALLY like.

I went with stock diameter & width so I could simply remount the stock/factory tires. Did so when the car had 25 miles on it. Picked up @ dealer to home and home to Discount Tire for wheel install.

Back when I ordered (2021) typical offsets were 30mm front and 40mm rear. Some folks had some front rubbing issues with the larger mud guards (which I have). Other variables were also in play, primarily ride height (I’m lowered on collars).

They’ve since changed the typical front offset offering to 34mm to address (30mm can still be special ordered).

I highly recommend you call the guys at Motorsport LA (forum sponsor). The beauty of wheels, like most things, lie in the beholder. For me, the M520R best fulfill the aesthetic/value equation.

If I purchased another C8 tomorrow, I’d buy these wheels again…

I have a set of the M520R and I like mine. I have the black gloss and I purchased mine from James at Wheel Designers. No problems so far. My only small complaint would be the cleaning part because of the way the wheel is designed it makes it hard to clean the barrels. But with that said I use a good cleaner and that helps out a lot. I kept the stock setup.

I love mine. Offsets are pretty much perfect to put them flush with the fenders. I like a very slight amount of poke (totally subjective) so I added 5mm spacers to the rear. No issues with rubbing.

Most people use aftermarket lug nuts with these because the GM ones can be big for the holes. All orders with us get high quality Italian lug nuts for free
