Subscribed. I have been told that some dealers will install so as to maintain warranty related concerns down the road however I'm not sure how true this is.

My dealer refused to install any after market products on my car.
I had my dealer install an AWE Touring system with the simulators. They were quite willing and warrantied the labor for one year. They charged me right at $900.00. It was worth it to me even though I'm quite handy. I figured to let them take the liability for damage to the rear bumper fascia. Flawless job and sounds like I wanted it to from the beginning...no CELs either. I lost my butt on ordering the upgraded performance exhaust from GM as it was not enough for my taste...Hope this helps!
AWE Track install. 6 hours labor @ $110, plus $40 to add the Attack blue filter and bolt on A high wing I assembled and drilled holes for. $700 total. Horse Power Addicts, local shop specializing in Vettes. No issues with CEL. Main thing I was worried about was getting the bumber to realign perfectly, and not have the exhaust rattle off the frame. I know the one pipe comes really close to something in there.

That's why I purchased the MBRP Armor Pro Cat back, .. because AWE, Paragon and a host of others bring the exhaust downpipe from the Cats to the "Underside" of the receiving X-Pipe, which skirts those pipes just above the cross member frame, really close (And touching and vibrating on frame in some cases if not meticulously installed..), whereas the MBRP Cat Back takes the downpipe from the Cats straight out to the "Topside" of the receiving X-Pipe, and takes the tailpipes from that lower position of the X_Pipe, and angles them back up to the corner openings in the rear valance. The MBRP design clears everything with wide margins, and to me the 2 tailpipes angling upward from the center section, as seen through the screened rear valance opening looks a bit more cool as well.

that is true was very straight forward installation and plenty of room this is how the awe and paragon and most others looks like compared to the MBRP you can see the x-pipe location
Also, when these systems are laid out for pics, you can't always trust the layout presented. The 3 point flange is ALWAYS on the passenger side, and the 2 point flange is driver's side. In this pic of Paragon Track exhaust the layout is correct, and you can see the downpipes connected on bottom side of X-pipe, unlike the previous MBRP which connects to the top side of X-pipe
Paid about 550.00 for my Fabspeed Valvetronic install at my local performance shop, Sir Thomas Automotive in Port Charlotte, Fl..It's been on my '20 C8 for about 2 years and still sounds great, mostly in Sport and Track modes..
