Picked up my 2LT yesterday with Red interior and noticed today two small black dots (maybe pen head?) on the red door trim. When the door is shut you can’t see it as it’s the part hidden by the side of the dash. Question is, I can’t get the black dots to clean off with water or McGuires leather cleaner. Is there anything else I can try? Don’t want to take it in for something so trivial.
That won’t hurt the red leather or whatever fake leather they use for those door panels? Was worried it would leave a stain or white spot…. Should I dilute just normal rubbing alcohol?
How about a 3" scuff from a careless salesmans' foot, after filling up your
new C8 with fuel?
I've tried everything.
I have seen baby wipes remove a TON of odd stuff in my cars over the years..... if you have a leather steering wheel wipe, it with a babywipe and you will be disgusted at how black it is.
I have had it remove ink pen ink from all sorts of different color leather interiors
I was advised when I bought me 21 HTC 3LT to only use water based leather cleaners. Salesman said it helps to prevent the 3LT delamination problems. Not sure if true but worth trying.

I've never used the Lexol cleaner so don't know about that but the Lexol leather conditioner is amazing stuff. I have leather interiors 30+ years old that have been conditioned with it over the years that still look like new new.
