Default Lloyd's or Weather Tech

Just curious as to what most of the forum population is choosing for floor protection. If different from the Lloyd mats and Weather Tech, please state what you chose if anything. I have only used Weather Tech mats in other vehicles and have been relatively happy with how they have held up, BUT I do like the emblem being made into the Lloyd mats. Thanks in advance.

I can’t imagine having weather tech hard plastic mats in my C8

Truck or SUV sure C8 no way. The only exceptions would be if I drove in snow or mud.

I agree with Maxie, would never have the WeatherTech style matts in my C8, love them in my Tacomas.

I have the OEM upgrade mats in my C8 and really like them.

I think OP is talking the rubber Lloyds not the plush carpet. No to any rubber mats for me.

I do understand what everyone is saying and I agree that no dirty feet get in the car. I do like the look of these however especially with the red stitching. A huge THANK YOU for the input fellas. God Bless

Lloyds are what I'm going to buy. Rubber mats are for my SUV. Even if dirty feet get in my vette, it's easy enough to vacuum off the mats and/or pressure wash them if needed. It's different in the winter time when sand and salt get into the car where rubber mats are ideal.

Weather Tech.... daily driver, non-show car. Same with Ferrari - got one of the rare one: has windshield wipers...

In my past 4 Vettes I always had Lloyds......then I got the GM version of Weathertechs. I will never do the Lloyd's again. I was always scribbing the logos clean, replacing every few years. I now love having the molded mats. No wear, easy clean, still look cool with Jake logo. Every one of my C8 buddies went with the GM molded mats and say they won't go back to the carpet mats.

I would never put Weathertechs in my C8, those are great for utility vehicles but I want my Corvette to feel nicer. Also, I don't get in with dirty shoes.

I would buy Lloyds, but I won't, because Lloyds won't make anything to match the tension/twilight blue interior of my car. It's extremely frustrating that they only offer the same black/red/tan mats that have been available for decades. No one else makes them either, so I will continue to just buy the standard GM mats in the matching blue. I just expected more of Lloyds.

I've always had WeatherTechs in other cars but especially like the C8 OEM ones best due to its Racing Jake skull, enameled crossed flags emblem, and how the textured pattern matches the car's edgy modern sporty lines. Much easier to clean than carpet and they capture almost all specs of dirt (as shown in pic) so the cloth floor lining stays factory fresh.

Spend time in Illinois and Florida. I've always used WeatherTech for the protection they provide the carpeting.

Had the ordered for the C8 but then saw the Jake mats. Ended up ordering the Jake GM for the Funk, Trunk and driver area. Love then
