125-150 good price
150-200 prob the norm
>200 Rape…..
you have at minimum 75 to 80 bucks worth of supercar oil anywhere you can get it, the filter another 8-10, then labor on top of that. if you use anything but a authorized Chevy dealership, keep all the receipts for the oil and filter and the repair order from the shop you use.
I use a local muffler shop that lets me watch and help with the change, I bring my own oil and filter, and they charge me 35 bucks.
Not any harder than any other car to change the oil, but you must ck the oil with the engine running.
You need 7.5 qt of Mobil 1 supercar oil and a pf64 delco filter.
I used to change my own oil but for the little labor the dealer charges and it's on GM's record when the oil and filter was changed I just have the dealer change it. No point in risking a warranty claim being denied because I changed my own oil and the only proof I have is that I bought the oil and filter...
Oil/filter changes have really gotten expensive. If you can do it yourself, you can save some cash.
My dealer charges $30 labor, and it's on GM's record that my oil and filter was changed properly. Not worth risking a warranty denial for an engine replacement to change my own oil.
I paid $122 at my local Chevrolet dealer last week. they have several Corvette service specialists and I trust their work. It was not worth it to me doing it myself and risking any warranty implications that may occur later.

What did they charge you per quart for the oil? Looks like the price has gone down to around $10 online...
Great price considering the price a dealer charges for just the oil.

Ref #5 - Easy - Just leave 6.4 oz in the bottom of one of the quart bottles. I normally purchase the 12 quart bags of M1, however, I've got some 4 quart jugs marked & save a few quart bottles to measure 1 quart. I'm not that good at watching oil flow from a 12 quart bag & guessing where to stop.
