That's what I did when I had the 2008 Coupe. I figured why make the effort to add/remove, why chance dropping, why change scratching.
So I think it is a smart move.
Best wishes;
My first Corvette was a 92 C4 coupe. I parked it in my garage at home and it was my daily driver. One summer I was on an assignment to our Corporate office, which had covered parking, and went three weeks without the targa top in it and never covered it.
Is that less trouble than putting the top back on? If it was a real convertible you're always best to put the top up. On a targa or HTC it's just a matter of keeping the dirt out.
Same here with my C7 as well...I had that for 3.5 years and never took the top off of that either! I'm just not a convertible guy...
I wish GM offered a fixed hard top for the C8 similar to the C5 I had!
Same. Had a C6GS i took the targa off twice in the 2 years i had it.
Have my C7Z for 8 years and going, NEVER took the targa off.
Have my C8Z now 8 months never took the targa off. I wanted to see the amazing engine that's why bought the coupe for the C8Z. So double bonus going with a coupe.
Never been a top off type of guy. It's a weird experience lol. If it's hot, turn the AC on.
No, the only thing I leave uncovered inside is my early production Excalibur SSK roadster, which I've sworn to never put the top up on or install the side-curtains on.
