If you're logged in, you shouldn't be experiencing pop-ups! - And in order to post here on the forum, you need to be logged in so I'm not sure why you're still seeing pops ups?!
I'm using Windows Edge as my browser on my desktop and Google Chrome on my mobile device and not experiencing any popups while logged in...

Reason: changed browser reference
I don't have any popups, but to be honest, I don't think vendors should be allowed to start threads that are to sell their products. I think that should be limited to the FS sections. They should be able to respond to threads offering their products as a solution but it feels like there's a lot of that kind of stuff from within the general and tech forums.

One of the forum administrators would need to comment on that. I have not noticed that many of them, and they do not bother me. I am happy to see that, and vendor support is what keeps the forum afloat. But, there are rules regarding what members can post on a vendor thread. Based on what the admins have stated in the past, any post on a vendor thread that detracts from the sale or interferes with the sale of the product are not allowed. In non-vendor started threads, it seems as if it is acceptable to post negative opinions about a product. But not in a vendor started thread. Unless one pays careful attention to who started a thread, it is easy to make a mistake.
