First difficulty was unscrewing the bolt on the pedal. Easy if you have a nice powered tool to use with sockets. A little more difficult with the old socket and ratchet. Its tight under there with the brake pedal in the way.
Next most difficult part was disconnecting the electrical connector from the pedal assembly. You need to ONE hand it, stretching in, and if you don't know how GM electrical connectors 'click' together, well ya lay there swearing. I was squeezing, puling, tugging all the while trying not to rip something apart. Finally it popped off and I could see how it worked...duh.
Clipping the Soler PRF in was a snap, pun intended.
Next problem was Pairing with my phone. More a problem with my phone than the product. Finally got it all together and went out for a test drive. Agreed that it basically opens the throttle sooner based on your foot's position. It really opens the power up a lot earlier.
Curious whether you can pair more than one phone to it?
If I pair it with my phone and place it in say Sport 7. What happens when my wife drives it without my phone in the car? Does it keep last setting, return to oem or what? Thanks in advance

Lots of threads on the CF re the Soler Throttle Controller.
Yes, you can pair it to at least 2 phones as I've done that. Not sure if it can pair with more than 2.
I talked to a rep from Soler. He said that yes you can pair it with more than one phone BUT....he really is not sure what would happen if both phones are in the car at the same time.
My guess is that you would just note which to pair the device to which is another step in the process.

I don't think it would care unless you start the app on both phones at once - it doesn't "talk" to the phone just because it's in the car.
I installed mine last week. The hardest part for me was disconnecting the connector. Other than that no problems. I bought it 75% for the security feature and 25% for performance. After taking it out and only trying Sport 5, I'm impressed by the performance and there is a real seat of the pants difference.

Not sure about pairing multiple phones, but once you decide on a setting, you probably won’t change it.
Anyone know if the Soler installation will affect the warranty?
Maybe the throttle body would. I can't imagine the dealer even knowing you have the throttle controller. Just set it to OEM or remove it for service visits.
And as others have answered, yes, you can pair multiple phones with it. Pairing a phone only allows it to connect, but it only connects if you actually start the app. The app isn't running in the background all the time.
If you do start the app on two phones that are both in the car, my guess is the phone you try to connect last won't connect at all.
