Seen a few last week at Ron Fellows. Its a very dark purple, I think it looks good. Matching a nice interior will be tricky for anything other than black imo.
I looked at a Hysteria Purple Metallic on a showroom floor a few weeks ago. It did look more purple than most of the forum pics I've seen, but I was disappointed that the metallic wasn't that noticeable. Maybe it was due to the showroom lighting or because I am used to the metallic in Red Mist, which you can't miss. It's possible that sunlight would make a big difference, but I wouldn't order the color without seeing it in person first.
I saw one but didnt take pics. Honestly I think the corvette bash pics posted here are pretty accurate. In the shade or indoors under not super bright light it looks very purple. But in direct sunlight it looks dark metallic blue with strong purplish undertones. I would 100% choose it if I could stomach GM's choice of google OS for the car, their ongoing privacy violations, and the risk of the DCT out of warranty. My next expensive car will be my last, as I wont buy new cars in the all hybrid/EV future. Wish I had kept my 2022 C8, although the DCT would have always been a back of mind worry. I could get an extended powertrain warranty and safely keep the car 10 years, but after that??
Strongly leaning toward an LC500 over the C8 just for reliability and lack of google crap. I feel like it is easily a 20 year car.

Very good points. Looks like all the Google crap is coming whether we like it or not. If they removed Car Play it would be a deal breaker for sure.
My main concern is how purple looks in sunlight. Sounds like I might be disappointed.
My .02 it's one of the colors you had better see in person before picking it. Totally different look with pictures under different lighting conditions.
Hysteria / Habanero is the only reason I would upgrade from your 2022. There's nothing of value otherwise. You aren't upgrading from the SR. The infotainment is worse.
