I ordered my C8 from Ciocca and got it in July 2023 (14 months). Does anybody know if that list process is still happening? I ordered mine exactly as I wanted it and I'm wondering about ordering a Z06 the same way. Mine is a Silver Flare Metallic 2023 2LT, Z51 aero delete with black interior and red calipers. I am completely happy with it, no complaints. The only difference is now I can afford a Z06. Life is good!

I'm not sure about Z06 but I ordered a Stingray from Ciocca in mid-December and went to 3000 status last Wednesday. I expect to get this car by no later than late March, maybe several weeks sooner.
Regardless, i would think your wait for a Z06 would be much shorter than 14 months...probably closer to 6 months.
Since MacMulkin has over 200 C8's in stock, I would guess that there is no longer a waiting list for a non-Z06 etc. Z06's are on dealer lots so maybe they can get you an allocation pronto! Go with them and avoid the $600 doc fee. You should have your car comparatively fast compared to last time. Suggestion: Call them and ask.
I bought my 2020 C8 from MacMulkin because I was able to be much higher on their allocation list. This time, all large Corvette dealers have allocations readily available. So, proximity, discount, and ease of trade-in made choosing Ciocca a no brainer. In short, you're buying an expensive vehicle and either dealer will treat you right. Don't let a $600 doc fee drive your decision.
There should be no wait on getting a Z06 at this point. Locally most of the Z06's are dealer spec'd cars and they are happy to take a custom order. The supply has met the demand. However, the big guys may still have lists as there were so many on them.

Last I checked Ciocca had some Z06's and E-Ray's in stock. But from my experience and looking at their inventory of C8's reminded of when I bought my 2017 Grand Sport about this time of year at what I call their Winter Pricing! They had the same as their website shows now ~200 C8's in stock. While many other dealers stop ordering Vettes in the Winter, they and some others build inventory for Spring.
To avoid layoffs BG gives some extra dealer discounts. I ordered my 2017 GS when they had >200 new Vettes in stock as all my 7 Vettes, built just for me in BG. Got the same discounts as they were offering for cars in stock. Call and ask but my guess is you can get on their order list. Great folks have bought 4 Vettes from them.
