Connected Services Included Regular Diagnostic Reports, Right?
There weren't any diagnostic reports shown. Instead it shows a message telling me this: "Subscribe to receive real-time vehicle health data on our app, the OnStar Vehicle Diagnostic Report monthly email, and proactive vehicle health messages and alerts. Manage notification preferences in the Data & Privacy page of your account."
So, then I checked my email - I though I was receiving them monthly. Looks like I was initially receiving them monthly, then maybe not every month. The last one I received appears to have been in Aug of 2024, which is about three years from when I took delivery.
So, then I checked under "manage plans". I have never paid for a subscription to OnStar, and I would have had the three month trial subscription that expired a long time ago - leaving me only with Connected Services. It shows that I have "Connected Access" through 6/25/2031.
So, what does that include. Drilling down, it shows that I have Dealer Maintenance Notifications and Vehicle Diagnostics. Under Dealer Maintenance Notifications, it says "Your vehicle can notify your preferred dealer when it’s time for a service appointment", it says it active through 6/25/2031. Elsewhere on the site, I can see that I have all that enabled (there are options to turn it on or off). Under Vehicle Diagnostics, also active through 6/21/2031, it says "Monitors your vehicle’s key operating systems and provides you with regular updates about your vehicle’s health." Elsewhere on the site, I verified all that is enabled.
Specifically enabled (and has been ) are Diagnostic Reports by email, Proactive Alerts by email and mobil, Diagnostic Alerts, email and mobil, and Dealer Maintenance Notification turned on.
So, why have I not received a diagnostic report since last August 2024? Are others who did not subscribe to OnStar still receiving regular diagnostics after three years?
I don't use the phone app for that. I log in to my laptop. I don't use the phone app for anything, although I have it.
The reports I did receive up to last year were in email.

I do get mailed offers for service specials, etc from my preferred Chevy Dealer in the mail, but nothing else.
I CAN see all my Service Records, and I've added ALL my DIY maintenance service that I've performed. Also added putting in a new AC Delco Battery a few weeks ago. All that DOES show up. I also rechecked my settings for Notifications, etc and all that was properly highlighted to receive the diagnostics reports, etc and my phone and email info was all correct.
I've got a 2020 as well. My "Connected Access" ends on 8/30/30 which is exactly 10 years from date of delivery. Wonder WHY we aren't receiving the Vehicle Diagnostics reports any longer ?......

I have been driving the car throughout the winter on nice days, so it really wasn't put away for more than a couple weeks here and there.
