Can anyone tell me if the TPS on a 25 Stingray match the 24s? I am in the process of buying a set of take offs from a 2025 for my 2024. Does the reprogramming have to be done at a dealer?
Thanks in advance.

Do you mean Tire Pressure Sensors? They are self-learning, but require about 10 miles of driving before they're set.

Looks like you found plentiful of good answers and I'm just adding to my post count here. So good luck on finding out and let us know if it recalibrates successfully after 10 minutes or 10 miles so that others know as well.

If you are trying to use the old ones, I think that sometimes they can get damaged upon removal and may not work well. For a few bucks more, I would recommend buying new ones. Usually they are pre-programmed for your car depending on where you get them. This way you know that the reading is accurate.

There are TWO different part numbers for wheel sensors on C8 wheels. To find out which one you have you need to pull the build codes for YOUR car. The two codes are XL7 and XL8 and each has a different GM part number. You need the code from the car the wheels came off of and see if they match your car.
Now I have no clue what the differences are maybe frequencies? Are they interchangeable, maybe I don’t know. Can you program a different one to your car I don’t know.
