Placed my order in November. Accepted in February too. Where did you check your status on Corvette.com?
Thx

Give him your order and ask if you got a TPW yet. Make sure to thank him as this isn't really his job, but he takes care of everyone that inquires about their order. He is more up to date than your sales person or dealership. Being that we are getting to the end of 25 run if he has a TPW for it will probably be accurate and will be done that week.
I placed my Z06 order in early November and it was accepted two weeks later. Still isn’t built. My TPW is this week, but that is the third TPW I’ve been given. Finally got impatient and bought a 2025 Z07 from Criswell about a month ago. Love it, disgusted with GM.
Chatbot rarely has up to date info. You need to tell the chatbot you want to speak to an "Advisor" or perhaps "Corvette advisor" to get put in contact with an actual person. Last time I went this route (2 weeks ago) I was initially put in contact with an OnStar rep. WTH! After answering a number of annoying questions that rep finally put me in touch with a Corvette Advisor and I got the latest status on my order . . . you guessed it . . . status code 3000
I have been stuck on status 3000 for over 2 months with no progress. Does GM still build Corvettes? Despite low sales, cars with orders and deposits should be built.
Letter To Mary Barra:
Hi Mary,
Due to the delay and lack of progress on my Corvette build, I would graciously accept either a ZR1 or an extension of the Costco $3,000 promotion that expires April 30, 2025.

What is going on is they are whining down the 25 run and trying to match inventory with orders. They don't want to have 100's of dashes for example laying around that don't work in the 26. Anyone with accepted(3000 status) will probably see there car built in the next two months. I'm guessing ZR1 order will probably start getting built by late May and run through June. Every year they shut the plant down for I believe 2 weeks around July 4th. I would assume that would be the full change over to 2026 models when workers report back. I think at the bash next week they will announce 26 orders will start in late May early June. Production numbers have been way down the last couple weeks.
2025 production is running at least thru July. I have a ZR1 getting built 7/14 and a convertible Stingray 7/28
So likely our orders get filled? That is good news.
maybe. But you immediately end up owning a dated product if 2026 models have the new interior. So I’m waiting to see what is announced this week at Bash. If the interior changes I will cancel my 2025 order and wait to place a ‘26 order. I realize at this pace I may not see a 2026 until late 3q2026, but I can wait.

Do you have refundable deposit? Are you willing to pay close to MSRP for a 2026 than 10% off for 2025?

Have 10% discount on '25, '26 list price likely going higher

I’m ok with that as long as I get exactly what I want. Over time the price becomes irrelevant. I don’t expect GM will raise the price so high that they will price this car out of the market.

There is no doubt the interior is changing, but minimal overall. The "wall of buttons" appears to be lowered down some and is now a grab handle function. The HVAC buttons will move to below a slightly larger screen. Wireless charger is now moving down by the cup holders and the cup holders appear to always be open, no cover. Charger basically in more useable location for the driver. But overall, everything is still angled to the driver and I'm not sure the passenger is going to feel much different than they do now.
We'll find out everything in a few more days, but this basically 99% gonna happen according to everyone that talks corvettes around the internet. It won't be major departure from what is there now. A quick glance and non-car people may not even notice anything beyond the buttons moved.

correct about all of this, but I’ll know it’s different 😀
