For cleaning the inside of the windshield I have found that using just a small amount of water on a microfiber cloth works best, followed by a dry microfiber wipe down. One of the extension wands (many brands available) will help on the C8 windshield (and back glass on the coupes). I have used many different products over the years and they all seem to leave various degrees of streaking, no matter what techniques I use. The water will work on the typical haze/fogging that occurs on the inside of all windshields; if any kind of dirt or grime is on the inside of the windshield, then one of the chemical products would probably be necessary in that case. YMMV, but it works for me.
For years I have used a Norwex window cloth. You don't use any cleaners, just water first applied with micro, then polish with the Norwex cloth. For the extreme corners inside, I wrap a window cleaning tool with the Norwex cloth. This system is the best I have ever found over years for cleaning car windows. Most window cleaners are s**t, and if ever using cleaners to strip caked bugs, only use foams, then follow up with Norwex. The Norwex is what is known as a wine glass polishing cloth used by high end wineries.
I use a microfiber towel and Sprayway (Costco) Glass Cleaner. I sit in the seat and clean as much as I can reach on each side.
Yes, It seems to be difficult to get it really clean. Sometimes it take several attempts to get a good result.
I have this flex head pad to get into the tight area in front. It has a 20" handle. That seems to be just right. Usually I put a microfiber cloth over the green pad, spray it with cleaner and scrub several times. It is not easy.
I use invisible glass, my front window is tinted, a reach tool similar to the ones referenced here and a WAFFLE TOWEL from someone like Chemical Guys. Best thing for cleaning I have ever used! Even bought the wife one for the house windows and she loves it. Check it out, you can’t go wrong.

I've been working on getting the inside of my winshield perfectly clean. It's way more enttailed than I'd ever imagine. The winshield is sharply raked and deep. It's just difficult to get to all the area, especially the furthestmost portion. Age is also a factor, unfortunately.
I've used
Glass cleaner, 3 different brands.
Full strenth Degreaser
Claybar / lube
rubbing alcohol mixture
Vinegar mixture
Towels for glass
Newspaper
glass cleaning wand with pads
Everytime I think I got it, I take a drive and under certain lighting and reflections, it looks terrible.
I think I'm making progress and almost there but having the toughest time with the furthermost areas having foggy areas.
I feel , I've almost tried everything.
Is there one bullet proof step by step that's worked for C8's?
I started this posting, so if you read #1 you'll understand I felt I tried just about everything with less than steller results.
I now have the answer.
This comment is an amalgamation of everyone's input.
If you have foggy or oily inside windows, you can miraculously do this .
Buy Norwex window cloth , Glass wand with pad, 3 in 1 Car Mitt, Window cloth mitt . I purchased several to test but I'm positive you'll only need one. If not purxhasing the Norwex wand, be sure to purchase an extender window cleaning wand on amazon, etc. to reach way down to the bottom. Wrap a cloth around the wand head, and secure with a rubber band. Follow the directions!
Don't get your Norwex on Amazon, it has many fakes. Buy direct.
Your windows will be better than new with very little effort. You can do the exterior too but I'd recommend getting them clean first, don't worry about streaks, the cloth will take care of those.
Initially, you may see streaks but after it dries they disappear if the window is properly clean.
Try it and report back.
I am finally happy with my windows!
