Pretty car, Miss Scarlett. I imagine if you took off all the exterior badging it would look like a Ferrari, especially from the side ( to those who aren’t into cars).

One thing no one mentioned was scrape armor. I think it is necessary but as many have said your car your rules. And you can add that yourself.

Congratulations!

FWIW for those on Budget Build or for that matter any Base or Z51 Vette. I would NOT recommended Scrape Armor! Twice the size mesh needed lets in twice the size bugs and ONLY covers 90% of the exposed open front! For those of us with 2020 C8's it was not available. Many of us used the same aluminum screens from a company who has been in the business for over 30 years. BTW screens were available for early Vettes like my C6 that had the AC condenser exposed even more than the C8, it was exposed low to the ground! The one's I and many use are shown below along with a How To Doc I made with details from others as well. made in the USA and they keep their prices low to compete with Chinese copies.

I and many others bought sheets of their high air flow aluminum Hex powder coated Black mesh and cutour own from patterns on the Forum. They sell the mesh size Scape Armor uses bottom BUT mots of us used the half size that lets in half the size bugs and in my case 4 summers of 100F NE SC summers with aggressive street driving the coolant did not increase at all. NOTE is Tracking on a Hot Day buy their larger Scrape Armor size Mesh. This is my DOC, mostly Pics of my Install, with input from others like how to install with ZERO wire ties showing:
http://netwelding.com/CF_Splitter.pdf

Member blaun showed how he made 4 screens (for 100% protection) for the front AND two for the rear fender scoops from one ~$60 sheet.

My install made with ZERO wire ties showing, all behind the OEM grill as are ALL cut edges. Just takes a little more work by removing the SAME bolts required of the Scrape Armor mesh install! Can do with a few showing as CCG shows on their How To Install Video.

It you would rather buy precut screens they sell those as well. OLD PIC they fit thru 2026 Vettes.

Those who think GM should have installed at factory- WHY? This is NOTHING new! My C6 had an even lower open grill opening exposing the AC Condenser. ONE issue some forget is that some BUGs will get thru the mesh. As noted twice the side with Scape Armor than Mesh I and many used. Have to get them off with mesh in place. IF car overheats because the rads are clogged with BUGs that is on you NOT warranty! Yep I addd to my C6!

In fact for my widebody E-Ray with much wider OEM grill openings I elected to use this $10 rubber tipped option for my Shop Vac. Removing bugs that got thru my 2020 C8 Mesh was not easy, some not possible. Your car your choice. BTW also great for my wide rear fender scoops. The pebbles and small debris that would get through any mesh, collects at the bottom. This Shop Vac gets it out!

I don’t know, Jerry to each their own, but I think something is better than nothing and, I’m more worried about small rocks and leaves ( because there are more of those where I live) than bugs getting into the screens.

I like the build! The more I drive mine the more I realize that the base suspension is excellent for my needs, the front lift was unnecessary, and with the camera/mirror now included with the 1LT there is nothing in the 2LT upgrade that is important to me. If I were to order a car today it would be a SR coupe, base trim level, painted calipers, performance exhaust.

Yep, in NE SC we have bugs. Of my 7 Vettes two had screens. The screen for my C6 turned out was bought for the wrong reason! My E-Ray is 20 months old. Just hit 7000 miles. My AC Condensers looks essentially new, now dinged fins. I use the Shop Vac extension about every other wash. Also get a lot of small pebbles and dirt in the seam at the bottom of the rear fender scoops. Small "stuff" most would not be stopped by a screen.

If any of my Vettes would have had an issue it was my two C4 bottom breathers, like my 1993 40th Anniversary. No issue with either. As you say to each their own
