Call NCM,unless you want unlimited miles but I think they go pretty high on the mileage allowed though... For a fee of course, but that seems high to me...
Thanks guys, I forgot to mention that mine is a $97k SR Z51, not an ER or Z06. There is also no lien on my car, it's paid for. BTW, congratulations to the person paying $1100 per year for a Z06!
I just added another car to my policy two months ago and Erie just lowered my 2026 Z06 to $667 annually for my premium.
I pay $1300 a year with 250/500 and 250 deductible for my 'vette with State arm and get a $200 discount on my Home Owners. I also have a second vehicle, Honda Ridgeline, which is about the same premium. We'll see what happens after 6 months but I think they know a 69 yr old guy isn't going to be doing something stupid. Haven't heard good things about their H.O. policies with regard to claims.
I found that bundling is my best option. I got the best price when bundling house and personal insurance with auto, that’s even with my <26 age son on the policy. It beat NCM insurance pretty handily. But shop around and make sure you’re comparing apples to apples.

Ouch you pay double what I pay through Erie for the same coverage except I’m at a 0 ded because of my disappearing deductible.
I've been in the insurance industry for over 39 years. I have a few comments:
--For the most part, auto insurance is a commodity product. Buy it on price. (My bad/great experience with XXX company may be an anomaly, so be leery of such comments.)
--Insurance is regulated at the state level, so someone's experience in another state is not necessarily meaningful to you.
--Insurance rates are complex; don't expect them to make sense when looking in from the outside.
--Get some online quotes and also call some independent agent for quotes. Carrier rates can differ depending on the purchase channel.
--Affinity programs can be useful, such as buying through AARP's referral (I think that's through Hartford).
--Bundling is generally a good tactic.
Oh god please don't get a quote from AARP /Hartford. I was shopping around for insurance and they quoted me 3300 a year for my 21 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and my 25 C8 LT2 SR Z51. Almost had a heart attack. No Points or accidents on my license. I ended up going with Progressive which was under 1900 year. This was in western NYS.
I was just turned down today by Grundy on my '26 HTC because my other car is to old. Puzzling since I had Grundy up until last Nov. on my '19 GS with the same car. Looks like I'll have to keep looking.

Ouch is right, FL has the highest auto ins. rates in the country because of all the crazy drivers. They are cracking down now with new laws and enforcement agencies saying "no more warnings". Oh yeah, if you get caught speeding at 100 mph you have a very high probability of going straight to jail.

Good I’m glad to hear it. Over 100 go to jail. Impound their car too.
Most, if not all, of these posts are meaningless without knowing what the policy limits and terms are, not just deductibles.
These posts are pretty much meaningless in general because insurance rates are based on a large number of variables. One persons quote has nothing to do with a quote someone else gets from the same company.

It has very little, if anything, to do with the general quality of drivers. There are "crazy drivers" in every state. Florida is bad because of the legal climate here. Those TV attorneys...guess who's lining their pockets with money. Yep, you and I. Florida, Louisiana and California are cess pools for insurance.

I moved from Orlando to Citrus Springs a year ago, completely different quality of drivers. Also have lived in Melbourne, Satellite Beach and Indialantic. I do agree that the ambulance chasers have had a detrimental effect on rates.

I changed from NCM Insurance a while ago to my regular insurance (Erie) because it allowed me to drive my car year-round without restrictions. Now, they have a major increase. The lowest rates I have found are at Geico, Progressive and Liberty. Others including Allstate, State Farm and American Family are too high to change.
My question is which should I avoid and why? I may go back to a specialty insurance for my 2026 Corvette as an option too.
With you having a 2026 model, the Erie auto policy is a good product... no miles or driving restrictions.
The first couple years it acts almost identically to the "agreed value" cover that NCM through American Modern Insurance provides.
Talk to your agent and get this explained.
I have Erie currently on my 2023 Z51 and renew around May 1....I'll be watching for the renewal price. I'm in Virginia but not in the DC or Richmond metro area.
I'm not to sure about this Fla. 100 MPH go to jail thing. I know cruising in my SL AMG or EQS 450+ on a Texas hwy. going 75 MPH (5 above), I have seen the speedo cross 100 when passing on numerous occasions. It doesn't take much to go from 75 to 100 and also doesn't feel like I'm loosing control of the car. I think the triple digit is just psychological, people say "Wow 100 miles per hour!!". If there happens to be a LEO there well I guess you're cooked in FLA and not from the sun.

The law leaves some discretion to the LEO, either way a big fine is coming.Under Florida Statute §316.1922, dangerous excessive speeding can be charged in two situations.
First, when a driver is going 50 miles per hour or more above the posted limit. If the limit is 45 and you’re clocked at 95 or higher, the charge applies. It doesn’t matter whether you’re on a local road, a rural stretch, or the interstate.
Second, when a driver is traveling at 100 miles per hour or more in a way that puts others in danger or disrupts traffic, hitting 100 alone is not always enough. The manner of driving has to create risk. Weaving between cars or tailgating at that speed are examples that will bring the law into play.
This distinction is very important. Not every instance of traveling above 100 mph is automatically a criminal offense, but combining that speed with unsafe driving behaviors will trigger the statute.
