I purchased a left over C8 Corvette about a year ago. Since I plan to keep the car for a long time I would like to purchase an extended warranty. A company called Bellgmpp offers a wide variety plans at reasonable costs. They claim to offer Genuine GM Extended Protection plans backed by General Motors. I would appreciate it if anyone has dealt with them or knows anything about them. Thanks.

If your car is eligible for the Chevrolet Platinum Protection Plan, which what you are alluding to in your post, then you want to contact one or both of the forum vendors via email, with your VIN and mileage. They will respond with a list of mile/time combinations, deductible levels, and priced for each. Their prices are more or less comparable (I suggest you check both) ....and almost always lower - substantially lower - than other sellers.
And in many cases, especially if you drive 4000 miles a year or less, you will want to wait until closer to the expiration of factory B2B warranty. The reason is that plans coverages overlap. So if you have 2 years remaining on the B2B, and purchase an 8 year ppp plan, you only extend the coverage by 6 years beyond the B2B. If you wait until about 30 days before the B2B expires, then you get a 6 year PPP and have the same extension beyond the B2B, or the 8 year plan and get a full 8 years beyond the B2B. There is big price jump if you have more then 12000 miles. And, you want to get the plan at least 30 or more beyond the expiraton of the B2B.

Sometimes the pricing is better going direct, other times it is better through a 3rd party dealer. Check both
I don't know what the OPs situation is, but wasn't your case where the B2B had already expired? Do you think its ever cheaper on direct site if the B2B has not yet expired?

Correct, my situation was that the 3/36 B2B OEM warranty was expired but the 5/60 Powertrain OEM warranty was still in tact. It also had 6700 miles on it at the ime. With these parameters, it was over $1k cheaper to buy direct than through one of the dealers.
I'm not sure how pricing compares when the vehicle is less than 3 years old with less than 36k miles though, but certainly nothing lost to plug in the VIN and run a check on the web site. There is also an additional 5% discount which also gets applied if you pay it up front in full ... So take that into consideration when comparing.
Looking at the BELLGMPP website, they sell the Chevrolet Protection Plan, same as Todd and Dennis. Get quotes from all three. Best way to contact Todd is via email.
Wow….I put my info into that link and the price was over $9K……?
I paid $2800 for a 4yr, 40k mile Platinum warranty on my 2022 Z51. Todd doesn't quote for vehicles which are beyond the OEM B2B, and Dennis quoted me $3800 for the same coverage.
What are your vehicle's details which resulted in $9,700? That's crazy ...

just your normal Z06...I got similar pricing as you from Todd….I am not sure what the deal is with that site and the pricing..

Put you VIN in and see what it give you….
Todd wouldn't quote me because my vehicle's 3/36 was expired. Dennis quoted me $3800
The $2800 for the 4/40 Platinum I stated is from that site, and I bought it on Jan 5th. If I put my VIN into that site now, it tells me I already have a warranty.
What year is your Z06, is it still under the 3/36 or 5/60 manufacturer warranties?

It is brand new…I only have the vin.
I was only playing around with that link….no intention of going that route….I am all set with Todd…..
Look like maybe the direct purchase route MIGHT be better when purchasing the Chevrolet Protection Plan after the 3/36 has expired - otherwise Todd consistently offers the best price.

Well, for me, it was $1,000 cheaper.... so it's definitely worth the 2 minutes it takes to plug in the VIN and see what pricing is offered.
Has anyone heard of selling dealers offer a deal on the platinum warranty (to start AFTER the Bumper to bumper) when you buy the car?
In other words, a written contract which states when the time comes, we'll give you a deal.
Just wondering if it is worth doing when doing my car's purchase.

I would not trust that. Too many things can change. Person making the offer leaves, dealership changes hands, "deal" is not specific (they could give you $1 off and say it's a deal).
