Default C8 pics

Was at the Daytona 500 and they had a C8 on display. I took some pics.

I saw one at the Philadelphia Auto show. Didn’t care for it honestly. Sits too high, wheels too small, ugly front and rear.

The more I see the C8, the more I do not like the design. Just too busy. Not elegant and timeless. Looks like a boy racer designed it. Just awful.

Agreed, the base models are kinda ugly. Waiting to see the Z06 and the ZR1.

Seeing it in person at the Rolex 24 didn’t do it for me. Im sure once the Z06 comes out that’ll change my mind. Lower + wider makes everything look better!

This designer has retired. Thank god.

Hope the wide body is killer.

I like the fact that they went mid engine but the design is very lacking.

The base design is a mess can't stand it to be honest. Looks like a bunch of teenagers got together and slapped it together. The Z06 will look better no doubt but at the moment am very very let down by the design.

They had at least 6 cars at Carlisle this year. Overall I like it but, without a manual trans, I will most likely never own one. I have a car with a DCT and its always driven in auto mode. Its just not the same kind of fun a real row your own is. That being said, they are still gonna sell a ton of them.

Thanks for sharing! I think it looks pretty terrible, but that color surely doesn't help. Like others have mentioned, I'll reserve judgment until I see the Z06. I bet that will look much better. The base models aren't doing anything for me.

The main problem I have with it is it really doesn't resemble a Corvette at all anymore. I still prefer the C6 to the C7, but at least the C7 still resembled a Corvette. I understand some changes to the body would need to be made to accommodate the mid engine design, but nothing about the C8 screams "Corvette" to me.

Saw them at the Toronto auto show. I can say without doubt I hate it. Has more ground clearance than a new Jeep Cherokee, my civic si looks wider. It does not have that mid engine supercar look at all. The z06 better be damn near a foot wider to make it look right.

With the base model maxing out at $110,000 I can only imagine what the Z06 and ZR1 will cost.

Wonder how it will sell after initial mid-engine excitement wanes. Chevrolet wanted a car with a short front end and a massive back end. Designers compromised on interior layout and luggage space to achieve that goal. I am not going to purchase one. Keeping with my C7 convertible.
