Yep my 2020 does that when it's 90 out! Engine oil needs to be up to temp and there is the yellow indicator that typically starts as you note at about 4000 rpm. I used that to short shift my two M7 C7s. I use it now to keep below the recommended rpm with my right foot in Z Mode.

Warns up and the yellow moves up pretty quickly. I also have coolant, engine oil and DCT fluid temps displaced on the left of the dash. No redline until engine oil = coolant and both up to temp!

It's pretty warm & humid here in Louisiana and I can confirm that my 2022 DOES reduce the red line at first start of the day!

I would like to apologetically retract the statement above. After looking at all the other posts here I decided to take another look at my 2022. It does, indeed, show a reduced redline until it is warmed up. I can't believe I never noticed that before. Anyway, my apologies to anyone I misled, and for complicating this thread.
