Does anyone know if there is a GM procedure (software only) to realign the front camera on the C8?
I replaced the front fascia on my C8 for a Visible Carbon Fiber one and as expected the cameras are shall we say ..... off a bit.
I knew this going in as I have done quite a bit of VCF on the C8, and most of it requires re-work. Some more than others and this piece was no exception. The Camera mounts are quite tight so there is no manual adjustment (which is the same on the OEM Fascia).
I'm hoping there is a software fix for the cameras which now seem like they point a bit farther out from each other.
I recall seeing that there is a procedure in the service manual to align the images in software. It probably requires a GM software tool to do it, though.

Well I guess I will find out …. I made an appointment at my Chevy dealer a few weeks from now. Till then my C8 has a bit of strabismus.
This is an excellent question to bring to your local dealer's attention, as they will have this information in greater detail. Should you need support connecting with one near you, feel free to email us at socialmedia@gm.com anytime.
