I didn't want a micro SD card that requires an adapter, but there may be a good reason some did.

I went with the
SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Card - C10, U3, V30, 4K UHD, SD Card SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Card - C10, U3, V30, 4K UHD, SD Card
that's full-size, and it's been working perfectly for two years so far.

Get at least a 512GB Sandisk Extreme Pro... it fills up fast. It doesn't matter if it's a micro with the adapter or not.
