Rattle C8
Have had my 2024 C8 for 1 year now. It has developed a rattle in the dash on the drivers side. Has anyone else had this problem?
I really do not want to have the dealer to tear into the dash. Looking for some help---------------------John

Any given car can have variable sources of noise across different ones. That said, have you done any diagnoses to date? If not, must the car be in motion or not? Can you get it to rattle by just smacking the dash at different places with you hand? Does it differ or stop when you make any changes in any compartment, open or closed, empty? Getting the idea? If possible, get someone with good hearing and get their head under the dash if you can do so with the sound exhibiting. You may come close to locating it and find you cannot get to it, but that's not always the case. Sometimes a slight movement of something can do it all. Good luck!

The same right side rattle happened to my 23 C8. I took it back to the dealer for its first oil change and complained about the same rattle. 2 hours later the service manager walked me back to my Vette. On the work bench was a pile of pea gravel and small rocks, maybe a half a coffee can full.
Here is your rattle!
They had removed all the bottom body panels and the right front inner fender panel.
I live and drive on a pea gravel road.
Soft tires pick up debris and it gets stuck under the car.
Oil change free!
Fix rattle $300
I will remove the panels myself next time.
