Default Quick hello!

Hi,

My name is Mike and I just took delivery of a 2022 Corvette HTC. It has 5,700 miles, GT2 seats, Z51 package, suade steering wheel, mag ride, front lift system, carbon flash racing stripes, and some other odds and ends that I'm missing. I thought it was interesting the original owner also paid $5k to pick his own vin.

At any rate, car seems nice so far, but I did notice a couple things:

1. The front camera looks weird. I believe it may be upside-down. I'll have to look but it may have to go into the dealer it's first week to fix. 😢
- I'm pretty sure one of the front cameras is upside-down. ****Dealer fixed****
2. I need to adjust the latch to the frunk. The frunk does not close down far enough to sit flush and it's bugging me. ***Fixed****
3. The car didn't come with a front plate cover, so I need to buy one. Are there different ones depending on model or are they all the same? Anyone have one they want to sell me, by chance? I'm looking for the cover so that I do not have to run a front plate.
- still trying to find one to buy

I'm excited to learn from this forum and contribute as I learn more about the car.

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, you really need to get that frunk cover adjusted asap before it comes up on you. Enjoy your car, I'm liking the black wheels.

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your Vette.

Regarding your questions.
1. It is hard to diagnose your front camera issue without seeing the view. Have you tried to change the view by using the icons on the screen when the front view is displayed?

2. You should be able to adjust the height of the rear deck by adjusting the posts that support the deck lid. The posts have rubber tops on them. You can adjust the height of the post by turning them.

3. I thought I had an extra, but I cannot find it. I bought new one for $85.

Thank you for the welcomes!

The trunk has been adjusted. Gap is gone and it looks perfect now. I'm definitely not looking to put a front plate on - I need the OEM cover. That seems to be missing. The camera issue looks to be that one of the cameras are installed upside down. What's involved to flip that around? Otherwise, car seems great so far.

Can I ask how you adjusted it, assuming you did or know how?

I adjusted the latch itself. Two 10mm bolts. Lowered it slightly and perfect (it actually took me three attempts to get the height and centering right).

Feel free to msg me if you have questions but it's pretty straight forward. The trim pieces blocking the bolts pull right out. If you think it's centered, use some tape on the edges of the part to make sure you keep it centered and stick with moving it just up or down.

If you feel you must have a front plate, you don't need a bracket. Pop the cover in front and there's a place just made for it... Plenty of threads on "how to's" for that.

No I need the cover for when you don't want to run a front plate. Thanks.
