In track display on the right side of the display below the gear that I am in, there appears some kind of a timer option 00.00. Does anybody know what this is or how to activate it?
Secondly, I have had some issues where after few runs in autocross I try to turn on the PDR and get a black screen. Sometimes after a few seconds it turns on, other times it doesn't. I have had this happen several times and it is always on a later run. It doesn't seem like this should be heat issue, but I am wondering if anybody else has experienced this/ if this is known issue. Thanks!
I've had the black screen show up at the track a few times. Randomly. Leaving the car off and the door open for at least 90 seconds has on occasion resolved the issue. The "clock" under the gear indication is the timer that will show up when on the track and you've scrolled to the performance tab on the DIC. You'll need to establish a start/finish. The owners manual and Youtube will help you out.

You mentioned autocross. You have to be on a closed loop "circuit" for the lap time and delta time information to show up. On an open layout such as an autocross (no single distinct start line) you won't get any data there.
Looks like you were at Grattan, because that doesn't look like GingerMan to me.

The Delta only shows on Closed loop track. BUT when you have a autocross/ open loop saved (different starting and finishing lines) I saved some of my favorite roads like that. it will give you a time when you cross the finishing mark. You can actually see the wording change on the PDR when you cross the starting line, it says something like "in progress" under the track name you selected. then when you cross finishing line, it shows you the time on right. I have never tried doing the same road again. will save one in my hood and do it a second time and see.,

That's good to know. Honestly I've never tried it on an autocross course because you have to set the markers while driving and that's not fun (and boarder line unsafe) on a track, and nearly impossible on an autocross. Why the PDR doesn't use the track data that's out there (most lap timers have GPS coordinates for tracks) and insist on you tapping a button on your screen is NUTS. I was 130+ MPH at Road America having to touch the infotainment screen to set the start/finish line. Guess what... it's in the wrong spot.
You have a good eye/ memory. That is Grattan. We did track sprints last weekend. This is my second time at a track so I have lots of opportunity to get faster! It is has been awesome getting to learn the technology and I am really beginning to get a feel of my ability to push the car and myself harder on the track and autocross.

Normally, you save the track at slow speed like a nice drive around it to see what the course is like and save it then.
Like I said I just saved a few of my favorit curvy roads to and from my house. So I could play with it, not all out racing it's a public road but its neat to see your time when you're having a no traffic day, or even a heavy one like how much slower was that haha

We are not the same at autocross then. I get 3 runs for a National level course and I'm not giving a run away to hit the button at the start and finish. Here's a typical large event course... no way I'm touching the screen as I launch or as I'm accelerating through the finish. (Yes, I know I ran on the rev limiter a LOT but I had tried shifting 2-3-2 on the course and it wasn't quicker as it screwed up entry to the next corner each time)
Yea I agree if you can go save it normally then your not going to do it WOT on a run haha. Just telling you how the car works. saving it wide open is probably not advised/
