OK, I'm a first time, new owner, Just posted my acquisition of a 23 caffeine metallic HTC that I've put less than 500 miles on. Back when I started this quest, I was topping out at about 350 on my petite 6'1" ballerina-like frame. And with a 29" inseam, I'm all torso. GT2 seats were moderately comfy back then, and all was right with the world. Now through hard work, determination, willpower and......a few chemicals, I'm a svelte 220. And the GT2 seat is killing me. I feel like my ribs are in a vise. I suppose at my former fighting weight, I was "floating" on top of the bolsters, not wedged between. I spent 20 minutes today doing every seat adjustment possible with no relief. I've still got that new Vette owner smile, but somethings gotta give. Seems to me that some corvette vendor would make an overpriced custom cushion that would raise you above the confines of the bolsters. Or 'm looking for suggestions, advice - you name it.
There is a very similar thread on here within the last couple of weeks or so.
No ready made solution was found, guy that made the thread was going to try having some cushions made.
Don't think he posted any results yet.
Experiment with pillows, cushions, foam, etc. for a while. If/when you get something you are more comfortable with, take it to a good upholster and see what they can make or come up with to replicate the result you liked. Another option might be to look around for models with alternate seats to try-out to see if a simple seat swap might do it for you. In any event, all the best.
I am 225lbs and 6’3” with 34” inseam - all torso. I took my ‘23 with GT2 seats to Florida when it was less than a year old. Very uncomfortable on the way there, on the way home better. Now after 3 years the seats are molded to my backside and pretty comfortable. Give them some time before you make changes.

Good advice and hope you can find a comfortable seat for your car.
Congrats on losing a whole (130lb) person! (Usually, we gotta get divorced for this to happen!)
If you install padding to "lift" you above the bolsters, then there's little reason to drive a Corvette. Might as well get a Buick 225 with a bench up front.
Check with some after market seat makers for XXL torso'd people. SPARCO is just one of them.
I understand that this is not the most cutting edge or necessarily attractive solution, but I purchased the following from Amazon. For $30 it may not be the final solution, but it works in my case. I flipped it upside down so the wide part cushions my shoulders. It fits between the side bolsters and after tooling around over the weekend, the driving position/comfort was dramatically improved.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
