What planet are you on? This was released by Chevy so obviously it's the real thing. Just like how new phones get "leaked" directly by the manufacturers ahead of time now.

The picture does not do the car justice. While not as dramatic a departure from the base car as we all want, the larger side scoop and fenders, along with larger tires will be evident in person. Certainly, the Z07 will be more aggressive. I really like this color combination.
I think this will be one of those cases of the more exotic the color the better the car looks.
That's photo by chevy makes the car look like a Maclaren GT copycat. And not in a good way imo.
I'm sure in person it will impress.

After reading both CF and MECF on this revealed photo, it seems there are a lot of disappointed people on the design. I see many advancements that indicates to me a higher level of surface design that its much more dynamic. Both downward sloping waterlines on this ZO6 have different termination points than the Stingray. Both rear and front fenders are moved outward for a more sculptural 3/4 view. Since Team Corvette designers are very good at integrating separate protective details that actually help in road rash, stone chip, etc conditions, I can see why the Sharks Tooth rear vent protector is there. The boomerang on the Stingray was designed to protect from oncoming stone chips, etc where you can repaint if too much damage occurs. You can see that the protruding horizontal rib on the ZO6 sharks tooth is proud of all surfaces, though where it engages to the bodywork it is subordinate. That could possibly be a so called protective rib that doesn't allow door dings since it sticks out further than the rest of the surfaces. Overall I think this is by far the most sophisticated design language yet to date for a Corvette. A masterpiece of design integration. It will look spectacular when viewed up close where you can see the surface attenuation.

The additional colors helped.
The car looks good.
It looks better as a wider body and that rear spoiler really works.
This one hits me like the C6 Z did over the base.
I'm interested in what the actual reveal brings.

Drifting
Reminds me of a Nissan GTR front fender.
That horizontal fender crease doesn’t appeal to my eye. Looks like a styling cue for a boxy suv/truck, or a Nissan GTR.
Hope it’s just an effect of the angle of the photo.

I'm still trying to figure out why GM would reveal almost the whole car ahead of its actual reveal date? Makes no sense to me! They usually do slight teasers but nothing like this! Regardless, I am still hoping the actual reveal will show us a much better looking and sexier car!

I've been looking at this all day. I think if they changed two things it would make the car dramatically better.
1) The more I look at it the air inlet on the side looks quite a bit like the C8R if you delete the tail - for the love of god - delete the tails LOL
2) Not sure why they did that stupid notch in the front fascia below the headlight at the corner - it looks horrible in this pic.
Obviously from there add on the carbon fiber aero, wing, different wheels and boom it should look good.
Pretty sure they used the base C8 doors on this.
At this point I am pretty disappointed with the car - I was really expecting something aggressive and impressive and this is neither.
Personally I am one of the ones that thinks the Z will be NA and though I think it will be quick on the track I think as a street car many may be disappointed. I hope I'm wrong as I'd love it to have more power/torque than what NA will give.
Just my thoughts
