The areas of interest (infotainment, cargo space, driver aids, sound system) tell you so much about the target audience of the Corvettes and thats part of the problem. No one is buying a GT3 for Android Audio or blind spot detection. No one wants to drive a 720S to a golf club. Jack of all trades mean compromises. There is no way to just do it all well, instead you do everything but do it to the best of your ability. You want storage as much as a sedan? That adds mass, and increases physical properties of the car. We all know the dimensions of this car is bigger than a 5 seater BMW 3 series of couple of generations ago (and weighs 200 lbs more). You want cooled and heated seats? Well now you just added 90 lbs of weight to the car. Cant have your cake and eat it too.
Chevy should have really tried to build these variants so different that owners would want to own a E-Ray, Z06, and a ZR1. I dont meant drivetrain differences but also take an aggressive stance towards amenities (hence weight reduction), perhaps even change the layout of the car (maybe shorten the car by removing the rear storage and removing targa top and make a coupe). One for daily duty and for those grocery shopping, one for hardcore track and for visceral experience, and one as a proper rocket ship super car to compete (but truly do so) with the likes of 720S or Turbo S or 488 Pista.

Dude relax no they aren’t. The sky isn’t falling. They still work on volume. Don’t be scared it’s going to be fine.

Doesn't look good.
The C8 ZO6 should've got the twin turbo engine from the leaked CAD design that GM Legal had removed from the internet.

Hopefully we will see soon a corvette without Bose system, Apple CarPlay, rear trunk space for pure track performance..

Wait, I thought they were benchmarking the GT2rs.

They should have. The GT2 has twin turbos and the TORQUE they provide.
Just look how low the LT6's torque is compared to the turbo models in this brochure.......

Honestly the whole document is very weird, I have no idea why they would include the 720S or the F8, price aside those are FI cars. The whole point of the Z06 is that it's peak NA, you're only doing yourself a disservice by trying to compare yourself to them. Leave those comparisons for the Zora/ZR1.
That said, it appears to me that this document is not really for customer eyes. The whole 'you can say' element points that it is directed to dealers/SAs to help them differentiate the car to customers and answer their questions ... in a way, it's a sales technique to make the customer believe that a Ferrari or Mclaren is in the same league. So we're looking at it and analyzing it as buyers, where it's really only intended as a sales aid. It's really more of a glimpse as to how GM wants its dealers to promote the car rather than a functional comp.

Folks these are “battle cards” for sales reps. Notice the talking points and comparisons etc. You sell what you have, hence leveraging the real-world usability.

You're thinking of weak little left wing snowflakes like the one in that meme.
Worst case, we'll just flip our C8 ZO6s to someone like you , and take your money to buy a ZR1, 911 Turbo, or McLaren GT.
Cars that make real power, and can be easily modified to humiliate the LT6.

Because 99% of these cars see cars & coffee, not race tracks. Corvette, especially the Z06, has always been about projecting an image of race car without actually racing the car. GM knows who their target audience is, and it isn't the minute group who wants a stripped down race car.

Not to mention Corvettes are WELL represented at race tracks/road courses and other HPDEs.

Nobody is seriously cross shopping the Z06 with any of those cars
Well, I was going to get the GT3, but then the salesman pointed out the extra storage and big touchscreen in the Chevy. Kinda was a no brainer after that.

That's not cross shopping. That's someone with a lot of money looking to cycle toys in and out of his garage. Props to him for having the means to do so.
