20thAnnual St. Jude Open Car Show

The members of the BatonRouge Corvette Club and the City of Plaquemine Main Street Program would liketo invite everyone to our 20th Annual St. Jude Open Car Show on Saturday, April21th 2018, at the Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park 57845 Foundry Street inPlaquemine, Louisiana. The car show is open to all types of vehicles (cars,trucks, motorcycles, atv's, etc...) old to new and anywhere in between. If itrolls and you would like to show it off while helping the children of St.Jude we would be glad to have you. Thisis a rain or shine event with concrete parking. In case inclement weather we have space for 200 vehicles in a coveredarea.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Onsite registration will run from 8am to11:30am on the day of the show. Your donation of $40 will get entry of one vehicle,an engraved wooden plaque with a picture of you and your vehicle as wellas a car show t-shirt in the size of your choosing. Over 50 beautiful trophies are awardedeach year. The awardsceremony to begin at 3:30pm.

There will be music, food and fun all day inside the 10,000 sq./ft. coveredpavilion with restroom facilities. We will be selling raffle tickets with cashprizes of $250, $500 & $1000. There will also be over a dozen retailvendors selling a wide variety of items, 50/50 ticket sales, valve coverracing as well as both silent and live auctions. Free admission to allspectators, fun for the whole family.

Our corporate sponsorship program is a large part of our donations. Yourmonetary donation of $250, $500 or $1000 will get your business promoted on ourwebsite as well as in print, on banners at the car show and on each of theapprox. 400 t-shirts distributed at the car show. Remember, you are a winner for donating to thechildren of St. Jude.

We want to thank those whodonated to and participated in last year’s show.The recordamount of $92,000 was donated to St. Jude in 2017. Through the hard work of our club volunteersand with the generosity of the public and our sponsors, we have been ableto collectively raise over $560,000 for the children of St. Judesince the inception of this event in 1998. We look forward each year toimproving the total donations.

The Baton Rouge Corvette Club ranks first with the largest total donationsto St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of all car clubs in the U.S.
