History of the fleur-de-lis in the Corvette emblem
For our Montreal friend (Vette7474) who was asking where this came from, Jimmy and I gave him the Coles notes version but here's websight that goes into a bit more
Carrol, good to see you and the Mrs out at the meet yesterday...have a safe trip back...leave some of the 401 in tact for the rest of us

Cool... I just noticed the fleur-de-lis on the emblem today while i was cleaning the beast and wondered why the heck that would be on the corvette emblem... rather than the american flag... good info
Please don't give this info to quebec officials... they will probably end up taxing me for having and extra unautorized fleur-de-lis on my car.
