Corvettes in Monte Carlo
Where has the time gone? Can't believe the big trip is all over? All I can say is it was the trip of a life time. This particular bus tour was the way to go,, nice easy pace, lots of time to relax and enjoy.
So ya, lots of eyecandy as far as cars go. First night we walked up to the casino to see all the action. First car I see is a nice yellow C6 Z06 parked right in front.
There are more Bentleys than any,, eveyone and their brother has one,, the pesants drive Porsches (sorry but it's true),, every tenth car is a 911! Didn't see as many Ferraris as expected but there were enough. Astons are also very common. Corvette count was 1 C6 Z06, 1 C6, 1 silver C5, and a couple C4s. As for the the rest of the trip it was amazing, Started in Monte Carlo then stopped in Piza and Lucca, stayed three nights in Montecatini then visitied Cinque Terre (simply amazing), visited Florence (disappointing honestly) saw "David". Then headed to Lake Como, stopped in Milan,, shopped in the Ferrari store, 5 floors worth! Como was the highlight of the trip,,
managed to walk the Formula 1 track,,that was very cool some guys were driving Ferraris around it
the local Lambo dealership
This was parked infront of our hotel
Here's a cool Heiny and a glass of wine for 8 Euros each or $23!!
They park anywhere,,who could just park their Aston in the middle of the road like this?
A "pesant" driving a nice GT3 in Switzerland
Saw this cool little Smart car,, guess it's new model,, I've never seen one before.
Saw some incredible yachts as the annual Monaco Yacht show was gearing up.
The Ferrari store was amazing could only afford a 34 Euro t-shirt!
Gas wasn't cheap in Monaco either! That's $2.39 a liter for 98!
Visited a place called Cinque Terre, amazing little towns on the sea.
Then we finished up with 3 nights in Lake Como,, even had a glass of wine with George Clooney,, ya right!
and finally what's with all the papazzi at Heathrow? I'm in line and hear my name and some guy is taking my photo!! Turns out it's Pierre!!! You always bump into someone you know!
Here's some links to the rest of my pix.

Great pics!My parent company ,based in France, was at the yacht show demonstrating how you can put your 3 million-23 million dollar helicopter on your yacht. We usually do quite well there.

Welcome home Steve, looked like you 2 had a great time. I'll give you a shout when I get home from Atlanta and we can arrange a day for the transporter to stop by your place and drop off your car.

it's ironic cause some think we are these "world travellers".. let me tell you it's not true,, we are total newbs compared to the rest on our tour,, for some this was just one part of a 3 month tour or it was their 16th tour with the company,,, but that said they were all mostly retired or close to it and had never been travelling at our age..
