Default Agincourt Autohaus Grand Prix - Solosprint MIR School July 4, 5 2009

SPDA is pleased to announce the
AGINCOURT AUTOHAUS GRAND PRIX SOLOSPRINT WEEKEND

Maximum student registration for Saturday: 50 students

July 4th: 07:30am for tech, registration, driver's meeting.
12:00 - 13:00 Lunch (Cafeteria will be open)
17:00 Track is closed.

Alligator lapping at noon (let your spouse do a few laps around Mosport!) Instructional track walk / cruise on Saturday night at 5:15pm!
Student and volunteer dinner on Saturday night!
Open for camping Friday until Sunday!

Event #5 of the 2009 Mobil 1 SoloSprint Championship on Sunday... It's you against the clock... and the best in Ontario! Walk-ins for event only: $160

Watch these forums for the Supp Regs the week before the event: http://www.casc.on.ca/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11

With current registration numbers, our plan is to run two student run groups which means that means that you should have over two hours of track time, plus classroom instruction. You will have one instructor for the school day.

We still have a few school slots open that I have to fill to make the event break even. (Sign of the economic times, I suppose!)

Individual: $305. Group of three: $295 each!!

Email solosprint at rogers dot com today if you want to register, even if you're still scraping together two buddies!

14 slots left, then the waiting list.

Registration for the school is closed, HOWEVER, there is still space to run on Sunday!

$160 - gets you up to an hour's worth of open lapping in the morning, and then at least 3 timed sessions over the course of the day, and potentially a little more open lapping at the end of the day. It's really not a bad deal.

There are a handful of C5's already running in the series this year, and a couple of lowly F-Bodies .

The competition factor adds to the fun. I'm sure some of you track regulars would love to show-up some of the SoloSprint regulars .

If anybody is interested, you can PM me for more info, or simply SHOW UP at ~7:30am for registration .

Was a great weekend, good people, great weather!

I ended up setting a new track record (1:32.1) for SGT2 and also had the most consistent session of the class winners. Thanks to the CorvetteForum guys that stopped by and said hello, I'm pretty bad with names but I think it was a Steve, Mike, & Craig?

Yeah, the weekend turned out pretty good. Awesome performance by Krispy!!! Dude, way to set the bar ridiculously high!!!

SoloSprint will be back at Mosport on August 22nd & 23rd. The Saturday will be a Lapping day, for $325 in advance, or $350 at the door. Sunday will be a regular competition event (Event #6) for $150 in advance, or $160 at the door.

I'd love to see more 'Vettes out there. Seeing and hearing the V8 muscle tearing down the straights is way more enjoyable than a bunch of fart-can imports anyday .

Small blurry vid of Pete and myself, among some other regulars. Need Quicktime to load it up.
