Default On the road again

After all the crappy weather for the last two weeks it finally started to warm up yesterday and melted most of the snow of the roads.

I'll leaving for TUCSON in the Vette early this AM and hope I don't hit too much ice before the sun comes up.

Made it down in two LONG days.

Roads were good and very little traffic or construction. It was 105F when I passed through Phoenix and 96F when I arrived in Tucson at 7:30 PM. Grabbed a cold beer and jumped in the pool to relieve some of the stress from the long drive.

Tomorrow's project is cleaning the car. BUGS are still ALIVE down here well, maybe not as many as were alive a couple days ago.

Thanks for asking Steve. He has his commercial pilot's license but with no jobs for junior pilots these days so he's working at the airport doing plane marshalling and baggage handling for ATS. He also just got another job where he loads (digital from computer) all the new inflight movies on planes as they lay over for the night in Calgary. I have to admit with him working two jobs the boy is NOT afraid of hard work.
