Default Fall Cruise - Sunday October 18th

Just wanted to get a bee in everyone's bonnett.

Sunday the 18th, a cruise from Georgetown to Orangeville and back. Next Sunday looks to be a sunny day so far.

I've picked a route that should give us plenty of colours. I'm just waiting for confirmation of a couple of things along the way.

Meet up Mississauga and Derry Rd's at 9AM-10AM. There is a Timmies on the south east corner. From there, we will go thru the Forks of the Credit up to Orangeville and Hockley Valley.

Items to bring:
Radios - set to channel 10-0.
Warm clothes. - it will be a cool day with a reported high of about 10 degrees. But very sunny.
Umbrella - just in case
Full tank of gas. Get it before we head off on the cruise.
Cameras - we will have a few picture opportunities.
Drinks/Munchies - for the cruise. We will be out for a few hours.

Post if you're interested.

Stan.

If the weather's good I'm in! I was looking at last year's cruises and by Oct 12th we had already done Haliburton AND Forks of the Credit!

Need to cruise before it's too late!

Sounds like a nice route, the only problem is that I live in Orangeville. How about making my house a pit stop?

Hey Chris. I was going to PM you if there are any nice scenic pit stops along the way. Maybe a Farmers Market or a place for lunch.

And can you handle 10-15 vettes or more at your place?

I would have to say a nice route from Georgetown to Orangeville would be to make your way to Forks of the Credit, then to Belfountain , then Erin, from there over to Orangeville. Lots of winding roads. Perhaps after that, eat at Angels Diner(Angel's Diner‎).
33 Broadway, Orangeville, (519) 943-0588‎. Good food and portions.

Updated the OP with a new meeting spot and added a rollcall. Hopefully everyone can make.

Bring warm clothes with you. There will be a couple of places to stop for picture taking, so bring your cameras.

Bring radios. Please set them to channel 10-0. For some reason, my radios no longer work on channels 2 thru 9.

I think you mean the Timmies at Mississauga Road and Derry. The only thing at Mississauga Road and Steeles is the Sunoco station.

Also, what time should we meet there on Sunday?
